moving on vs. forgetting

what's the difference between "i moved on” and "i forgot you already?"

when you say "i forgot you already,"
you totally accept the fact that the person you used to call "mine" is not yours anymore...

when you say "i moved on,"
you just realized that it's over, but the feeling is still there, you just ignore it...
